A see confidence, tradition, and modernity in her.
Me likes!
There are a lot of things I don't like about this paavadai thavani. Buth the worst has to be the paavadai. By intending to accentuate the body structure, the tailor has produced something that is not a paavaadai.
You need to have pleats in a pavadai. IT should not be soo tight, that it stretches horizontally as can be seen in the above picture. It just ruins the effect of the paavadai.
The thavani can be draped to accentuate curves. But the paavadai should not be so restricted. The more it flows, the more elegance you get. And I can't understand how this model was convenient in it.....
Wearing the same colour thavani as the pavadai seems to be a trend. To a certain effect it MAY look good. In the above photo, I don't know which part of 'same colour' the stylist did not understand. The thavani is like three shades off the paavadai. IF you cant find the same colour, please don't try to pass it off with a similar shade, because clearly it looks 'orrible.
Below is a photograph, where the same colour has worked well. It is also probably due to the heavily worked paavadai balanced off by the matching same coloured thavani.
